Patricia & Josh Engagement, Vizcaya Museum
I am writing to you from beautiful city of Dundee in Oregon state, and sitting at an amazing porch of Red Hills Market. This place is simply beautiful! I loved their food and the goods I got to take home. Now, enjoying some breeze outside, watching people, savoring the fragrance of lavender bushes just a few feet from my chair, and drinking their oh so tasty latte.
Today, I got myself a day off to drive around some beautiful and lush Rose & Dahlia farms. It was a great experience to drive around country of Oregon state. Also, to see different wineries, produce farms, flower farms. So thankful for the opportunity to do be able to enjoy it all and it is very inspiring to my soul:)
However, I would love to talk about something pretty today. A few weeks before we left for our road trip Emily asked if I would be interested in creating florals for Patricia and Josh's Engagement session. I was immediately in! After a few emails back and forth, seeing floral inspiration of blush and pastels and some pops of colors, I couldn't be more excited! Emily, showed me dresses Patricia chose from the Rent the Runway, which I thought will be a great combination for what we are going with florals. And then she mentioned the venue and it blew me away! I literally started to dance in my cute little office space! I love everything about Vizcaya Museum and would be thrilled to do a wedding there one day! This place is spectacular with its european inspired architecture and beautiful gardens.
The session itself was scheduled on a day I was leaving with our family for vacation. Emily and her husband Thomas who is an amazing photographer himself and a part of Emily Kathrine Photography, were kind enough to stop by and pick up the bouquet with them to Miami. It was a very busy day for me, but I enjoyed creating this gorgeous bouquet for Patricia and happy to show IOE style and heart!
When I received images a few days later, I loved every single photo and all the details! Even though it was raining all morning and the beautiful silk ribbon that supposed to be fly away with a wind for the motion effect got wet, I still LOVE IT! I wanted to share with all of you as soon as possible a gallery and an engagement story that was photographed in such beautiful way by Emily and Thomas! So, new laptop was definitely a great investment. I wish I could post all 287 of them, but I hope you will love, enjoy, and share them with you friends! Sending you all hugs!
